Rooted in the heart of the world, the Joulik trio sketch out their sonic travel diaries as an ode to Elsewhere, to mixed languages and landscapes imbued with the scent of freedom. From the Mediterranean to the Indian Ocean, from Celtic lands to Balkan shores, from Brazilian sprays to sub-Saharan echoes, the voices blend with the colours of the guitar, oud, cello, mandola, accordion and percussion to create a mixed, poetic or frenzied atmosphere.
